The show features 49 boys chosen out of a pool of applicants, winning over the rest with a 220:1 chance. Each week, the boys will form a unit to compete against one another. The final 24 will become a 'Boys24' member and have the right to perform any time at their own theater. Afterward, the boys will be chosen again for a final debut idol group.
