Maria Trifonova is a real "old—school" mathematician, the last "Teacher of the Year of the USSR". In her lessons, children are not only afraid to reach for their phones, but they don't even breathe without permission. Unexpectedly, the heroine finds herself in an elite school — all for the chance to establish a relationship with her only granddaughter, whom she has not seen for many years due to a conflict with her daughter.
