Steve Donovan, Western Marshall is a horse opera of an older era. The hero, Steve Donovan, played by Douglas Kennedy, is of an older generation. His inevitable sidekick, Rusty (pestered by a bum sacroiliac, naturally) is twice as old as Steve.
