Ramadan Diaries is a series of short programmes marking the Muslim holy month of prayer and fasting – with an insight into the lives of some of those in Ireland who follow the faith.

Ramadan, the Muslim month of fasting, began on Thursday 18 June. This year the fast, which lasts from sunrise to sunset, will see many Irish muslims abstaining from food and drink for over 19 hours, every day.

Ramadan Diary, filmed in Cork, Galway and Dublin is a series of short programmes offering a glimpse into the lives of some of those who follow the Muslim faith as they enter the most holy period of their year.
