The intellectual show "Idea for a Million" is an innovative project of the NTV channel in partnership with the state corporation VEB. The first season of the start-up competition was aired by NTV in the fall of 2017. Several hundred innovative entrepreneurs of the country took part in the casting; the best 35 teams made it to the final part of the project. Many participants in the first season found their investors and received invitations from Russian development institutions.
The three winners of the first season of the show shared the prize fund of 60 million rubles.
